How to Feel More Confident as a Creative Entrepreneur

1. Develop a Support Network

Surround yourself with people who believe in you and your work. Having or being apart of a supportive community of like-minded individuals can give you the strength to take risks and make decisions that will help further your business. You should also consider joining professional associations or networking groups to make connections with other entrepreneurs and learn from their experiences.

2. Set Attainable Goals

It's easy to become overwhelmed if you're setting goals that are too large or too ambitious. Instead, break your goals down into smaller, more attainable objectives. And turn your large goals into visual motivation that you can add to your vision board. This will help you stay motivated and focused while you work towards your larger goals.

The major reason we set smaller goals when we are trying to work on our confidence is because it makes completing the tasks easier, allowing you to celebrate your successes along the way. The more you celebrate the more your confidence goes up.

3. Learn from Mistakes

There will be times when things don't go as planned, and it's important to remember that mistakes are part of the learning process. Don't be too hard on yourself and take the time to reflect on what worked and what didn't. This will help you gain valuable insights that can make you a better entrepreneur in the future. And allow you to learn quicker routes to finishing repetitive tasks that can lead to burnout.

4. Take Action

Confidence comes from doing, not just thinking. Once you have your goals in place, it's important to take action and make progress. Take time each day to work on your goals and focus on what you can accomplish. This will help keep you motivated and make it easier to stay confident in your ability to succeed.

If you struggle with taking action, because you NEED to know the first steps, then being part of an affordable group coaching program will help you dramatically. Consciously Creative provides group coaching to help you create a more productive brand and content strategy without burning out.

Group Coaching is great because you get to be with other creative entrepreneurs that are in similar situations, which means they might ask questions that you didn’t even think of. It’s also beneficial because not only are you getting next steps, guidance and advice, you’re also connecting with your community.

5. Embrace Self-Care

If you’re new here, get used to me promoting self-care. Regulating your nervous system and protecting your energy is essential for any entrepreneur. Make sure to take time each day to focus on yourself and do something that brings you joy. This could be anything from taking a walk outside to reading a book. Taking care of yourself will help keep your energy and confidence levels high, because you’re giving back to yourself. When we run a business, we’re constantly thinking about the client, the customer, the member, and the subscriber, which means we’re constantly giving them our energy, time and attention. Which fuels them and makes them feel amazing, so make sure you do the same for you.

Tangible Tips:

  • Instead of comparing yourself see it as a sign from the universe that you’re about to achieve that same success

  • Set your daily intention

  • Remind yourself what makes you unique - analyze your work and how your different

  • Evidence list

  • Creative something for fun - and refuse to sell it… ever! It’s now your reminder that you love what you do

  • Continue learning

Confidence is an important quality for any creative entrepreneur, and it can be difficult to achieve. However, by being apart of a supportive community, setting attainable goals, learning from mistakes, taking action and taking care of yourself, you can become more confident in your creative endeavors. Keep these tips in mind, and you'll be well on your way to success.
