How To Grow Your Confidence

How to be confident in yourself:

We’ve all heard the phrase “when you’re doing what you love you’ll never work a day in your life” but if you’re a creative entrepreneur with ADHD, running a business all by yourself, you know that saying doesn’t always apply to you. And you know first hand that if you’re struggling with your confidence, your ability to create greatness struggles too. Which is why it’s important to be confident. Here are my tips on how to build your confidence.

5 Tips To Grow Your Confidence

Are you trying to be more confident but find yourself constantly fighting that inner voice that likes to compare yourself to others? Being confident is easy when you remember it’s an inside job. The 5 things I do to consistently build my confidence that you can do too are as follows:

Get out of your comfort zone:

Trying something once makes you more confident to try it again. It also helps you keep trying new things.

Say something positive:

Look in the mirror and tell yourself three positive things everyday. It can be whatever you want. Say it, until you believe it.

Protect your energy:

Surround yourself with people who build you up and support you. Drop people who don’t, because for every 1 negative thing we hear from someone, it takes 5 positive things for our brain to heal.

Build an abundance mindset:

Stop competing with other people and understand that there is room for everyone. What we put out in the world affects us. The more you judge other people, other small business owners, other moms, other artist who ever it might be - the more you will feel judged yourself.

Confidence stems from happiness:

The happier you are the more confident you will feel. So here’s a little two for one: you can grow your happiness everyday by doing something active, staying hydrated and work with something tangible. By doing this you are taking care of your heart, showing your body some love and appreciation, and recharging your brain.
