Are you waiting for the success to happen?

Success doesn’t happen over night, but we can definitely help make it happen. If you put your offer out there, you’ve been marketing yourself and you still feel like you’re in a waiting game listen to Episode 033 of Her Messy Bun Podcast or keep reading.

What To Do While Waiting For Success

Do you feel like you've listened to all the advice, you've taken aligned action, and you've put in the work, but now you're stuck waiting for the success to arrive? We've been there too, and we know that it can feel like all of your work may not be worth it if you aren't seeing results right away. In this post, we show you what helps us remain patient — our Circle of Success. Each of the 4 parts will get you back into motion and fight those impatient feelings.

During one of my Group Coaching Calls with my members of Consciously Creative, a question was asked that pretty much blew my mind the way that it was phrased, because I haven't heard many people talk about it this way.

The question was: What happens while you wait for the success to arrive?

What do you do during the waiting game from creating product or services, to receiving the sales and clients. The most simple piece of advice is to talk about it. The biggest mistake we can make as Entrepreneurs is thinking that just because we said it once (maybe even twice) means that we don’t have to talk about it any more.

Make sure you are always talking about your offer, but not the offer itself, the benefits, the results, how it will help your target audience. Make it about them - always!

1. Get Clear on What You Want

If you don't get clear on what you want, you'll find yourself following the masses and inevitably becoming stuck and frustrated. To learn indepth how to get clear on what you want, listen to Season 2 Episode 19: How to Find Clarity and Direction of Her Messy Bun Podcast.

2. Identify any resistance

Take a look at everything and really tune into where you may feel resistance. Is there any? You could just be 1 or 2 degrees off.

  • Do you know EXACTLY who your target audience is?

  • Do you know exactly what you offer?

  • Can you clearly explain what your mission statement is?

  • What about your values statement?

  • Do you know what your brand objectives are?

  • What about your brand key words also known as - tags, categories, SEO, hashtags?

If you have zero resistance, then it’s time to share your genius.

3. Share your genius

In our last episode we talk alot about getting clear on your genuis and what it is you have to offer, but what do you do now that you've found clarity and now that you know who you target audience is. You now have to tell people and don't stop telling people.

The biggest mistake you can make as an entrepreneur is to think that people will find you now that your product or service has been created and that's just not true.

Share your offer, your freebies, and your genius in multiple different ways, on multiple different platforms, and serve!!!

If you don't have a platform but you have product, design a social media strategy to help you stay on track.

4. Follow up + Follow through

Deliver on what you promised, follow up on leads, go back and look at everything with a fresh perspective, go back to step #1 or #2 if needed

I like to call this the Circle of Success, because when you have clarity, refinement, strategy, and learn to follow through with it all that's left is trusting the process and continuing it.
