How To Batch Create For Social Media

Are you feeling drained trying to keep up with the trends on TikTok AND still trying to make your everyday content? Have you heard of batch creating? We are huge fans of having a library of videos in our drafts that we can post on days that we aren't feeling up for creating, when we know our schedule won't allow us to create and for days we like to take off. In this episode we break down what batch creating is, and offer a handful of ways on how to batch create your content in order to be more effiecent in your business.

What is Batch creating?

Batch creating is when you create multiple pieces of content in 1 sitting. Theres a bunch of different ways that you can go about doing this and you can use this process for a lot of different things in your life but today we're going to focus on batch creating social media content for your small business or brand - and the practices that we've tried.

We're both intuitive posters. We like to create based on how we are feeling that day and what's inspiring us, what's been working for us, however we also like to have a small library of videos we can pull from for the days that we aren't up creating content.

These's tips are mostly for the brands and small businesses that are trying maximize their time and to create a more effiecent work flow.

  • If I were a product shop and I was show casing a product I was launch that could be made in 1 sitting I can make:

    • a prep video with multiple short clips of gathering the materials,

    • a prep video that then jump cuts or transitions to the final product

    • process video, you actual working the materials and creating the product

    • process video that then jump cuts to or transitions to final product

    • a start to finish video - includes the prep, process and final product

    • a video of the final product and how its used

  • Then there's 1 video concept 5 different ways - let's say I'm making a how to video

    • talking head

    • point to text

    • text pop ups

    • voice over of a video of you doing the how to

    • and actually showing how to

  • Prep 21 video concept idea in one day

    • Come up with 21 video concepts

    • story line them

    • record them

    • schedule them

  • Every video you make, make it twice. Post one now and then save the other to post later.

    • Record one non-talking video, upload it twice on tiktok, change the text, do a voice over, or change the music

      • this is great for process videos

      • behind the scene videos

    • story telling take one story and tell it twice - the example i gave on tiktok was for a finace tiktoker

      • Present tense - I just made $500 in 1 hour this is how I did it

      • Past tense - This is the story of how I made $500 in 1 hour
